My choice usually depended on my patience and how quickly I wanted to see the movie.
Most of the time, I have to say that my choice was to stream it from the current location. As big as the full movies were, it started to stream pretty quickly from when I clicked on it. The screen size was 640x480 and I have to say that the quality was superior. You can even take these babies to full screen and they were still very clear. These movies are not for dial-up people, the file size is very big and it would take you days just to download one of them.
There are other options available if you don’t want to download the full movie or just want to see specific parts. You can download the movie in 4 equal parts or cut in 1-minute clips. These can be downloaded in both Mpeg and WMV formats. Just playing around with the links, the WMV’s for these can be streamed from the current location as well.
The picture quality for both the Mpeg and WMV are the same, at least I did not see any notable difference between them. So if you want to download the movie quicker, I suggest using the WMV file. I think dial-up users will be able to handle these movies, especially the 1-minute clips. So no one is left out and everyone can enjoy these great sites.
There is a new update Monday thru Friday for the sites. They have an update schedule link that you can see that will tell you which sites update on which days. That way if you have a site that is a particular favorite of yours, you will know when a new video is available to start downloading.
